The next offshore wildlife & freediving boat-trip is coming up!
Sunday, 13th July, 10 AM
For the 3rd year, I am organising a small group (11 people max.) to join me on a private charter, for an amazing wildlife experience in West Cork.
We will spend the day offshore, looking for Blue Sharks, whales, dolphins and tuna, and when possible, go snorkelling and freediving alongside them. (scroll down for pictures from previous trips)
Who can join:
Freedivers, snorkelers, photographers or anyone comfortable & experienced in open waters. Staying on the boat & dry is also fine. You can observe/take photos of wildlife from the deck as well.
Where we meet: Courtmacsherry Pier (P72 XY48), West Cork, Ireland
Time & Duration: Sunday 22nd September 10.00 am (please arrive sooner to allow time to change into wetsuits, chat etc). Full day out, back at pier 5pm-ish.

What to expect:
Blue shark sighting and swimming. Little whale sighting at the moment. Likely to see dolphins, seals or possibly whales. Tuna and seals are also around. Seabirds.
The very knowledgeable charterer (David) will guide us to the best sighting spots & areas, share some knowledge from the sea and make sure we have the best experience.
Safety briefing on the boat and learn how to respectfully swim and dive when in water with marine wildlife.
A lot of fun, good chats, like-minded people and a great day out
Toilet is available on the boat
Once you enter the water, the charter insurance is not valid. If needed, make sure to have your own insurance up to date when being in water.

Freediving/snorkel gear. No bright colours. Avoid whites or neon colours.
Dry bag or something handy for your stuff to put in and save space on the boat
Changing towels if changing in between jumping in
